When he's gone

So, the week is finally here. The week that I have suddenly become a single mother with a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old. Am I ready, heck no. But we will be ok. Thankfully we have lots to look forward to. "eah" and "an" gonna be here in 4 days, "po" and "bun" gonna be here in 6 days, daddy returns home in 6 days, and "jeran" comes in 7 days. So, we have made the countdown calendar on the fridge and will count the days off. Something to look forward to every morning. Oh and Aaron bought presents and made videos for Titus that tells him hi from dad and tells him where he hid today's presents. Even I don't know where they are. That will be fun for Titus and will help me remember every day how lucky I am to be married to such a wonderful guy!

Everybody loves spooning

This morning I was awakened in my opinion in one of the cutest ways possible. Titus came in our room at just before 6:00am (not a huge fan of that, but oh well). I was spooning Aaron and here comes Titus, crawls right in, gets under the covers, puts his arm around me and spoons me! Got to say, one of the cutest things he has done. Of course, it didn't last long but I cherished the few minutes that I got of being sandwiched between my two favorite guys in the whole world. Good start to the day, even if it was a little early!

Hello to the world

So, here I am with my very first blog...not sure how I feel about this...I have succumbed to the pressure of fitting in the blogging world. But I am excited. So, today will simply be explaining my title. I think that 1,2,3,4...8,9,10 very much describes what my life revolves around right now. And what is that? My kids of course. Titus is 2 and a half and for the life of us we can't get him to count to 10 without skipping 5,6,7. He will repeat after us and say it, but any time he does it on his own, we lose 5,6,7. But it has seemed so fitting with my life too. Sometimes I feel like we are just going a mile a minute that we seem to skip over the middle part to reach the end, or maybe we just miss it because we are going so fast! Anyway, I guess that's as deep as I should go for today. Stay tuned to learn more about my life as a mom, wife of a pastor, business owner and oh so much more!
